The Online Publishers Association Europe (OPA Europe) has elected new members to its Bureau

Paris/Berlin, May 12th, 2004. More than one year after its foundation OPA Europe has elected a new Bureau and President to better represent its increasing international membership. The 12 members, leading online-publishers from 8 European countries, voted on their regular assembly for a further expansion within Europe. The goal is to foster the interests of high quality online publishers with its elite audiences consisting of more then 10 million users among the OPA members alone. Julien Jacob, Managing Director CNET Networks France and Vice President of Commerce Europe, is succeeding Bruno Patino as President of the association. Bruno Patino was head of OPA Europe since March, 2003. Mathias Müller von Blumencron, Editor in Chief of Spiegel Online, continues as Vice President. Vittorio Zambardino, Online Strategist at Gruppo Editoriale L’Espresso, will serve as Secretary General and Christianna Burgess, Managing Director of Le Monde Interactif, will be Treasurer. Koro Castellano, General Manager of El Mundo.es, was elected regular member of the Bureau
