Meet the new Board of OPA Europe: Mr. Bertrand Gié, Head of Pôle News at Le Figaro, is OPA Europe President; Mr. Miguel Madrid, Chief Digital Officer at Henneo, is Vice President; Mr. Christoph Zimmer, Chief Product Officer Digital Paid Media at Tamedia, is Vice President; Ms. Diane Lemoine, Directrice du Numérique at Télérama / Directrice Générale at Le HuffPost, Groupe Le Monde, is Treasurer; Mr. Claus Brix, Commercial Director at Ekstra Bladet, JP/Politkens Hus, is a Board Member; Mr. Filippo Davanzo, Head of Business and Marketing Free Products at GEDI Gruppo Editoriale, is a Board Member; Mr. Mathias Douchet, Director of Product at The Telegraph, is a Board Member.
Mr. Gié has been fulfilling his role in an interim capacity since the departure of Jean-Christophe Potocki in the spring of 2020. On behalf of the association, Mr. Gié extends his sincere thanks to Mr. Potocki, who served as President from 2014-2020, and under whose leadership the association grew in membership and impact. The association also wishes to thank outgoing Vice Presidents Claudio Giua of GEDI Gruppo Editoriale, and Noemí Ramirez of Prisa, and General Secretary Ana Pascual Fernandez of Unidad Editorial.
