About the Executive Report
This report focuses on ‘New Revenue Streams’ for publishers, namely the development of income sources beyond paid subscriptions and digital advertising. It focuses principally on the digital sphere, but not exclusively, as some activities –e.g. events or membership schemes- can transcend online and include offline operations. The report outlines the main challenges and highlights examples of successful policies, while at the same time raising key issues to be addressed.
The 30-page report includes an annexe of slides from the company presentations shared at the March 2017 OPA Europe best practice meeting in Paris.
