MilanOPA Europe's upcoming Best Practices meeting will take place on March 1-2 in Milan. Its central topic is "Managing Resources and Processes: Newsrooms, Marketing, Tech & Sales".

The meeting will focus on both human resources and technology assets, and will examine diverse issues such newsroom organization and its integration with the business side, the structuring of sales teams (including native advertising) and Tech departments, as well as the teams for social media platforms and video. It will also address issues of process/workflow, and recrutiment/training/retention of talent.

 

Mobile PublishingOn October 19-20, the members of OPA Europe met at The Telegraph in London to discuss Mobile Pubishing. Presentations covered mobile web vs apps, content and design, advertising sales, marketing/distribution, and smartphones vs tablets in the context of mobile publishing.
